At The Belle we aim to provide our customers with a healthy, wholesome and balanced menu with the emphasis on locally produced Welsh ingredients. We have a seasonal bar menu together with a dining menu that changes weekly throughout the year. All of the food we offer is prepared fresh on the premises as well as a daily selection of great sweets and desserts made daily to ensure the freshest and highest quality. It is very important that the meats, fruit and vegetables we use are of the highest and freshest quality produce available. We are against the use of battery farming and our use of suppliers mirror our ethical view point, using local farms to source our meats, fruit and vegetables wherever possible. Our menus contain excellent cutting edge food that are tempered with a British/European feel with appropriate wine suggestions to match the food on offer. The menu is accompanied with one weekly rotating real ale in the winter and two on the pumps in the summer, together with bottle conditioned ales. This is complemented with a selection of fine wines from around the world including great French wines such as Classic Burgundies and Bordeaux, as well as New World wines from Chile, California and Australia. The owners in the business are the two partners, Andy McGill and Susan Brown. Both who have a vast wealth of experience within the field of hospitality and are highly qualified, classically trained Chefs. The production of food is headed by Andy McGill as Chef. Andy has vast industry knowledge behind him, through working as Head Chef in high quality restaurants, gastro pubs and 5 star hotels. All of these giving above average creative and artistic flair. Sue Brown, who is also a chef, is in charge of the front of house. Sues artistic flair and experience within this environment is second to none. Sue was trained in the West End of London at The Cumberland Hotel, by Jean Herbert, possibly the most renowned pastry Chef in Europe of the past 30 years.
